On a sparkling October school day more than one hundred 7th grade students and their teachers from SHMS went on a field trip to the Peabody Preserve Outdoor Classroom in Sleepy Hollow to plant spring flowering daffodil bulbs at the entrances to the trail system.

Robert of Westover Landscape Design donated 2,500 daffodil bulbs and sought out Middle School science teacher, Michael Garguilo to work with his students to learn about nature and have a hand in beautifying our community.

Here is one more example of the amazing partnerships being formed during the development of the new Peabody Preserve Outdoor Classroom. We will all be looking for our these cheery harbingers of spring in early April!
